INCMaT demonstrated a thermochemical heat accumulator
The meeting was held under the leadership of the Production Director of LLC Gazpromenergoholding M.V. Fedorov. It was also attended by leading specialists of LLC Gazpromenergoholding and PJSC Mosenergo.
The meeting participants were shown a laboratory setup - a thermochemical heat accumulator that allows heat to be stored and retained for long periods without loss.
The operating principle of the unit is based on a liquid absorption method of heat accumulation, which ensures the best technical compatibility with existing equipment. This principle provides a higher level of heat accumulation than water heat accumulators.
The practical application of heat accumulators has already become widespread abroad to stabilise the operation of energy systems under conditions of fluctuating heat and electricity demand. The introduction of modern heat storage technologies will be aimed at increasing the profitability and stability of heat supply systems.
