General information

The key competitive advantage of the UNICHIMTEK Group is the presence of a powerful R&D unit - the Institute of New Carbon Materials and Technologies (INCMaT), which was established in 2003 by the UNICHIMTEK Group with the participation of Lomonosov Moscow State University and became the first public-private institute at Moscow State University.

INCMaT is one of the first in Russia to put into practice the idea of partnership between the largest scientific and educational state center and private business in the field of science and innovations. This allows to implement a full cycle from basic research to manufacturing, certification and promotion of high-tech products.

The Institute of New Carbon Materials and Technologies is established on the basis of Chair of Chemical Technology and New Materials of the Department of Chemistry at Moscow State University. As a result, the scientific base and the traditions of the University, fundamental knowledge and results, as well as highly qualified specialists in various fields of chemistry, physics, materials science are an important component of the potential of the institute. In addition, the involvement of graduates and young specialists is of particular importance, leading members of the institute are actively involved in the training of specialists on the basis of Chair of Chemical Technology and New Materials of the Department of Chemistry at Moscow State University.

Today INCMaT has a modern scientific instrumentation base and qualified personnel to solve a wide range of tasks. The main goal of the Institute is the development of materials for new applications both in the interest of the UNICHIMTEK Group as well as on demands of other companies.
